about

Created to induce hypnagogic states, 'Transmissions from Carcosa' is the second album of the 'Transmissions' series, directly influenced from the Lovecraftian worlds and mythology.
This time we visit the constellation of Hyades, wherein lies the city of Carcosa and it's sole inhabitant, the King in Yellow.

Carcosa first appeared in Ambrose Bierce's short story "An inhabitant of Carcosa" and was then used extensively by Robert Chambers in his collection of short stories "The King in Yellow". It was later incorporated by HP Lovecraft and other writers of the Cthulhu mythos as the residence of Hastur, the unspeakable.
The city is never clearly described and always seems to be very vague, almost immaterial.

Disclaimer: This album contains complex harmonic content. High quality headphones are recommended for optimal experience.
